Opt-in ads

Saturday, January 5th 2019

This site is community driven and funded. I have tried to keep ads off of this project for as long as possible. The time has come, though, and I'm asking you for help.

Ads for guests

Users that have not registered for a PUBG Lookup account will see ads on player seasons and match reports. If you are a registered user, you have the option to disable ads.

Opt-in ads for members

In it's current form, ads are an optional "opt-in" setting. I am trying this to see how many of the community memers are willing to look at ads to support this site and how many people would prefer to not see ads. It probably goes without saying but I know that nobody wants ads on the site. This is the best way that I could figure out without forcing it on everybody.

If you would like to support this site and this project for free you can choose to opt-in to ads. It would be very, very helpful.

Thank you again for all of the continued enthusiasm!

Update : Travel distances are back

Friday, January 4th 2019

Travel distances should now be correct for matches and seasons. This bug was only present on the steam platform and is updated as of V8.0.2 of the PUBG API.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and holiday season. Hello to all the new players that picked it up during the break!

API bug for travel distances for PC players

Friday, December 21st 2018

At the moment there is a bug in the PUBG API that is preventing the reporting of walk distance, vehicle distance, and swim distance for PC players. The PUBG team is aware of the issue and is working on a fix for the problem.

Cheers all. Enjoy your holidays!

Vikendi is live!

Wednesday, December 19th 2018

The new snow map, Vikendi, is now live on the PC servers. Check out your recent matches for full match reports on the new map. I've also updated the Map Details section so you can see where you dropped, got kills, where the circles were located and where the care-packages landed.

Enjoy the new map and let me know if you run into any bugs!

Short links are even shorter

Wednesday, December 19th 2018

Match report short links are much shorter now. You can use a sharable short link to share your stats with your squad or let the world know about that double digit family meal you just ate. Match share links are in the match overview on all match reports! We picked up a shorter url to route it through and decreased the amount of characters we were using. Here's an example https://pglkp.com/s/awqe6. Stay safe out there. Avoid the red zone.

Added average damage per game

Tuesday, December 18th 2018

Average damage per game has been added to season and lifetime statistics. This metric represents, duh, the average amount of damage that you inflict per game based on your total rounds in that game mode.

Cheers!

PUBG Lookup featured on PUBG.com!

Monday, December 17th 2018

PUBG Lookup has been featured in PUBG's featured app spotlight on their news page! They wrote a really great write-up about the features available. Thank you to the PUBG API team for making an API we can all use. It's really cool to see how much this application has grown! Here's to the next set of features.

Check out the article here PUBG Lookup : Featured Apps Spotlight and don't forget to tell the squad about us!

Cheers everybody. Thank you for the continued support.

Export match data to CSV

Monday, December 17th 2018

You can now export important match data for all players to a CSV file that can be imported into most (if not all) spreadsheet software. If you're on a desktop / laptop you can export from the top of the match report next to the match date. If you're on a mobile device and want to download a CSV file for some reason you can do that from the very bottom of the match report.

As always, let me know if you see anything that isn't working correctly or you have a feature request.

Fixed an issue for PSN players

Tuesday, December 11th 2018

There was an issue with displaying matches in the season stats tab for PlayStation players. That has been updated and you should see your recent matches for specific game modes in your season stats panels.

Cheers all!
