PUBG has updated the API for only PC players

Monday, October 22nd 2018

To all of the PC players on PUBG Lookup : the PUBG API team recently changed the API but only for PC players. This means that PUBG Lookup can no-longer rely on the same information to be returned for both XBOX players and PC players. I'll be implementing these updates as soon as possible and hoping that they don't fracture the API much more!

Adding South America to XBOX server regions

Thursday, October 11th 2018

PUBG recently released a new server region for South America. I've added the server region to the player search dropdown. The region was just released today. Good luck hunting those dinners to my friends to the south!

Season statistics are ordered in a more reasonable way now

Monday, October 8th 2018

Season statistics used to be presented in alphabetical order based on the game mode type. That has been updated to a new, more reasonable way.

Old Way : Duo, Duo FPP, Solo, Solo FPP, Squad, Squad FPP

New Way : Solo FPP, Solo, Duo FPP, Duo, Squad FPP, Squad

"Ping Quality" clarification and updates

Sunday, October 7th 2018

"Ping Quality" is a term that is provided by PUBG as a parameter for the match as a whole. It does not represent the player's ping to the server. My interpretation of Ping Quality is that "High = Good, Low = Bad". Note that the variable is called PingQuality and not just Ping. I've added a tooltip to the Ping Quality display in match reports.

If I can get an official answer on Ping Quality from PUBG I will post an update.

Announcement banners keep you updated about new features

Saturday, October 6th 2018

I'm working on a small announcement system which should show you a little banner at the top of your screen when there is something feature worthy. You probably got here from an announcement link.

Load more recent matches

Saturday, October 6th 2018

In addition to the visual changes that were added to your recent matches you can now "Load more matches" when you hit the last match. Previously the default matches to load was 20. Now the default is 15 but you can request more matches by clicking or tapping the "load more matches" button.

Updated user settings

Friday, October 5th 2018

Previously, after you signed up there was no way to see or change your email address. Now in the account settings page, you can see and edit your account email address. I'm not going to send you any mail and I'll never give your email address to anyone.

Option to permanently delete your account

Friday, October 5th 2018

Not a fan of a stranger and his hobby website having your email address? I understand. You can use most of PUBG Lookup without registering. If you want to completely delete your email address from the database you can do so in the account settings page.

Manage your account's default home page

Friday, October 5th 2018

There have been a few requests for the ability to set the default home page after you log in. Before today it was always the season stats page. Now you can choose which page you want to have as your default. The "My Season" page or the "Recent Matches" page. Your selection will move that item to the front of the navigation and you'll automatically log into that page from there on out.

Recent matches now has a compact list view for desktop users

Friday, October 5th 2018

Mobile users have had the feature for a while but now the desktop and tablet users can get in on it. In your recent matches you'll notice a new option to toggle between "show match list" and "show match preview".

Hopefully this update makes it easier to view your recent matches!
